15 bucks for a buggy mess that the devs have stated they won't update any further and have since deleted all forms of communication with them. What a joke.
Alright, Togi and Glassbrain seem like really cool people from what I've seen during my time on their discord server, but leaving this game in a broken state, charging money for it, and then completely abandoning the comunity they've built by not only (apparently) deleting their twitter and patreon accounts, but also deleting the discord server for no reason just really wasn't a great thing to do. The discord thing makes me especially upset since, even tho it was a server for a porn game of all things, it was one of the most welcoming and homey serves I've personally ever seen, and the people there were really cool too.
Oh well there goes that, and it had so much promise to begin with. tsk tsk tsk shoddy cash grab unfortunately. even if two of the bugs ive encountered actually make the game bearable. and why is everyone pink?!
bit off that its "complete", since the steam release is bugged to hell and back from the reviews. the game was doing alright, but even from the build i was on needed more polish. lightspeed frankie, chikus ai breaking, and the girls not interacting much with each other aside from kissing in the main area. you cant really outrun a chase even when holding nothing. should be able to dash to the exit with your inventory loaded up to the point of debuff, making the player become more mindfull of their max load while still being tempted to try and claim it all. so few actual hiding spots, girls can see you through doors, and again, lightspeed frankie. no idea if these things have been fixed in the latest version, i really do wanna purchase the game but if its just a buggy mess (and worse than before) then im not gonna waste my money.
if you're trying to unzip it with the default windows "right click>extract all" the it won't work as it isn't a default zip folder. you need another program like 7zip or winrar to extract the files. it'll get stuck at 99% but as long as both files are there, you can cancel the process and it'll work.
TL;DR The game has a lot of potential but needs certain things to be hyper focused on and a little polish before I'd suggest anyone buy this game.
Let me start with the things I like, cause I don't want this review to come off as me bashing the game. Firstly, the concept is awesome! I LOVE the fact that the player isn't associated with the location at hand. There are far too many "parody games" that pose the player as the acting night guard for the location, I also really like that the girls aren't complete Nymphos and are more focused on getting the player out of the location rather than getting their rocks off. The little animation of them throwing the player out of the building really shows off their personalities! I also really enjoy the concept of having to get in AND out of the building, the execution could do with a little work (I'll go over it further alter in the review) but the concept is fun and works well with the photography mechanic well!
Unfortunately, that's where my praises end.
In it's current state, I cannot suggest this game whatsoever. There are far too many issue with the game for it to be worth an asking price of $15, even though there is great potential.
First and foremost, the AI. The girl's AI is extremely unpredictable, to the point where it makes it nearly impossible to make it past the first room consistently. There have been multiple instances where I was trapped within the kitchen and the restrooms because one of the girls continues to patrol nearby even without them seeing me. Specifically Charlie is a massive issue, she move WAY too fast and regularly moves back and forth from the same points which often ended up in me being completely trapped till either I tried to escape (and get caught due to the speed difference of the player sneaking and Charlie's movement) or until the "PDA" runs out of battery.
The second issue (and arguably the main issue) the tool's battery. The fact that the PDA runs out of battery passively is the one reason that I cannot enjoy the game. I understand giving the player a sort of timer, but its FAR too unforgiving. Even with the battery upgrade, it just drains like an IPhone from 10 years ago. It just feels like I'm being punished just for playing the game. I'd suggest changing it so that battery is only drained while it is being used, even if there's a sort of "boot screen" every time the player uses the PDA that lasts a second or two that blocks the player's view. As well, it doesn't make much sense as to why the PDA is zoomed in, it's sort of disorientating. Also, I'm not too sure but does the flashlight also uses the PDA's battery? If so, that's extremely ludicrous. The building is extremely dark and hard to navigate without having to worry about managing my very limited time limit to actually play the game and successfully be rewarded for doing so.
Third, Like I said within my praises, the concept of breaking into the club definitely needs to be reworked. Having a consistent entry point makes the game a little monotonous, if there were a couple different preset locations for the player to begin in, it would add a little bit of variety and would make the player have to plan on their feet. it would also help eliminate the issue with the AI since the player wouldn't see the exact same behaviors every single time they start. Maybe the player could choose a different point of entry after buying a certain item, like the crow bar or something similar. Maybe lock out certain points of entry behind other items like ladders or screw drivers or something, just make the act of starting the game a point of interest as well as the actual gameplay.
Lastly, there seems to be an issue with explaining thing that need to be explained, I was completely unaware that Charlie threw pizza slices on the floor as traps, or that Remi (the one that's using the Fexa model) crawls through vents until either of those things affected me. There should be a little guide book about the girls and their abilities, maybe on the second floor of the player's "base"(?).
Comparing this to another game in a similar vain (FAPNAF by FatalFire), it seems like this is far less thought out. There aren't any regular patterns the player can recognize with the enemy's, the main mechanic of the game is clunky and counter productive to the actual gameplay, not to mention that half the mechanics aren't explained.
One last thing, please don't read this wall of text and get discouraged from continuing work on the game. I would love to see this game become the best possible product it can, these are just criticisms and observations I've made being someone who's WAY too obsessed with game design and all that comes with it. Like I said in the praises section, this game has a lot of potential but just needs to be rebalanced a bit and have certain mechanics reworked/rethought about a little.
I'd also like to add that there's some sort of issue with the way the game is compressed that's causing it to not be installable on the itchio launcher. When decompressing it with 7zip, it states the file cannot be unzipped as a .zip file and is unzipped as a rar5. no clue what could be causing this error. 7zip also gets stuck on the process at 99% but the game functions and all files are present if you cancel said process at that point.
There's also an extremely easy to replicate glitch with the taser. If the player uses the taser on one of the girls when they're being caught, then there's a good chance the player is just softlocked. The game doesn't recognize that the kill state needs to be initiated because it gets overridden by the stun effect by the taser.
So wait, we jump from 0.1 to 0.2 after quite a long time, then quite quickly to 0.3, then 0.35 and after a month it's already 1.0? That's a huge gap tbh... Not sure about the 'complete' state of this game
I am going to be clear. I like the game and the idea but the game doesnt scream to me, its worth 15$. Most this game could be valued as would be 10$ and its not there yet. I could compare to the game Night Shift Secrets. Its at 10$ but it feels like the game would be worth 15$. Its not fully released but you can tell developer takes time to fix the bugs before steam release and they even stated the game would not be released till there are minimum amount of bugs and at chapter 3. Quality difference between both games is massive. They even thought of not using anything similar to scott cowthon's design cause you can get a copy right strike for that and frankie even if their name is different, they still have a good chance of a copy right strike cause it looks like freddy just femine like. Sorry but i dont see this game standing on steam for more than a year if not being booted sooner as soon as steel wool sees this.
I am going to be blunt when the game was free I saw potential in it as it was still being developed and if this is the complete and final release where we are unlikely to see any major updates it is not worth the price tag.
honestly man, it could use another few development passovers
the game is in desperate need of polishing and general optimizations, it still feels like it's in alpha
generally, the game kinda just lacks character too, the sex scenes are nicely done but every other animation feels janky and clunky
it's not that the game is bad, the stealth mechanics are decent and the premise is cool, but it feels like it needs an overhaul, to make it just that little bit more prettier
I found a small softlock bug. If you have the taser equipped, get caught by Franki or Baylee (I couldn't get it to work with Charlie or Remi), and fire the taser after being caught, the game will sometimes freeze and not continue to the "getting thrown out" cutscene. The only way out appears to be quitting the game from the menu or with Alt+F4.
A fix for this would be nice.
Otherwise, the game has been fun so far. Thanks, and congrats on the release!
A question Even thought you have already released it on Steam and posted it here saying that the game is complete, you are still saying Update with extra content or not
I'm running into the same issue as before except it's worse now I can't even enter the establishment I go to the door to exit my game crashes I know it's not because I was using an old save either cause I pressed new game after I tried it on the old save when I tried it on the old save the same thing happened as before the game would crash anytime I tried to look at my video unlocks. This started happening after update 0.3. Could you please fix this? I miss being able to play this game and knowing I'm missing out on a bunch of new content really sucks a lot.
that might be caused by the items in your inventory. They each weight a bit so having a lot of them makes u extremely slow, even not letting u walk at some point
Wait, so there's no form of stash for whatever you bring back? It's permanently on you and you can lose it all at any given time AND it weighs you down? I kept trying to save up resources to turn in for the bundles and it shot me in the foot I guess. That's super frustrating. I already uninstalled it though because it just seemed like an annoying grind, but thanks for the heads up.
Imagine Security Breach is a huge buffet. This game is like taking one scoop of ice cream from the dessert section and drizzling it in a sexy syrup sauce. It's not necessarily a meat n potatuhs type of meal. Pretty light on story and there doesn't really seem to be a concrete ending. However, it's still a fun game with great atmosphere that I believe is worth the asking price. Give it a shot please!
having crash issues, which is odd since i never had them in any previous update. but now, when i spawn in and walk past that hall way that you spawn in and into the actual room, it just freeze and crash.

uh oh, seems like someone had a meltdown.
I thought I got banned and it seems strange that I deleted everything it was good I hope I find an explanation
any chance the discord server not be deleted ? or maybe create new one, dev ?
i still saw some bugs on the game though...
Why did the discord got deleted ?? And why did Togepussi deleted everything including Twitter and Patreon ?
new zip file has nothing in it
I plan on buying, but will there be more scenes with the girls?
I'll definitely buy once the bugs are worked out.

got it during it free time can no longer get it sad day for me
I got the game but when ever I download the file it's empty how do I fix?

Guys, half of your game is not working.
I am going to be blunt when the game was free I saw potential in it as it was still being developed and if this is the complete and final release where we are unlikely to see any major updates it is not worth the price tag.
this game is shit because you have to pay for it like wtf
Your entire comment history is bitching about games costing money. I think it's time to get a job, brother?
Good lord I just noticed you said the same thing that I said after I typed my last comment lol
there's no shot you just complained about a game costing money...where have you been all these years?
you're a bellend. games take time to develop so its understandable that they cost money.
No offense, but it sounds like you need to find a job.
will there be any new stuf in it like the game stiill would like if it had more things to do still i enjoyed it
Do you need a STEAM DECK tester?
honestly man, it could use another few development passovers

bugfix patch coming soon for you guys! ty for your interest so far♥ ily
Thank you! Hearing this makes me more likely to buy the game off of Steam if we have confirmation that the game will still be getting fixes/updates.
that's supposed to be already complete?
So are there gonna be more updates or no?
Because Sense you have to buy it now
Hey, dev. I'm enjoying the game so far!
I found a small softlock bug. Love it!

how do you use the tools?
Thank you for this awesome game! I had so much fun playing this. If anyone's interested here's my gameplay of it :D
Ran into a bug where my walk speed is permanently inching slower than the crouch walk. No idea how to fix it and closing and reopening doesn't work.
that might be caused by the items in your inventory. They each weight a bit so having a lot of them makes u extremely slow, even not letting u walk at some point

nah u can store it somewhere in your base, i forgot where exactly i think its some chest next to the pc
